Empowering the Future: My Initiative for Free WASSCE Preparatory Classes and Essential Donations in Kenema - Copy

In 2023, I spearheaded a transformative initiative aimed at supporting the academic aspirations of young individuals in Kenema. Recognizing the challenges faced by students preparing for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), I organized free preparatory classes across three key centers: College Secondary School, Holy Trinity Secondary School, and Sierra International Academy. This initiative successfully reached and benefited over 750 students, providing them with the resources and support needed to excel in their examinations.

My commitment to education goes beyond just teaching. I understand that a conducive learning environment and access to essential study materials play a critical role in a student's academic success. To this end, I donated a range of educational supplies to both the candidates and the centers hosting the preparatory classes. These donations included:
- Touchlights: To aid students in studying during power outages, ensuring that their learning is not interrupted by the lack of electricity.

- Chalks and Dusters: Essential tools for effective teaching and learning in the classrooms.

- Books and Pens: Providing students with the necessary materials to take notes, practice, and prepare thoroughly for their examinations.

The free WASSCE preparatory classes and the donation of educational supplies have had a significant impact on the students and the community. By offering these resources, I aimed to bridge the educational gaps and empower students from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve academic excellence. The feedback from students, teachers, and parents has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the importance and effectiveness of this initiative.

I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where young individuals can develop their skills, achieve economic independence, and contribute positively to their communities. This project is a testament to my mission of uplifting and empowering the youth, providing them with the tools and opportunities needed to succeed.
